LidarGo Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 24, 2026　|　Operator: 泰宣科技

1. Information we process

• Device identifiers (lidar SN/PID, registration code, registration date, firmware version): read from the lidar over the local network for registration and authorization. These are uploaded to the device vendor’s registration server.
• Device location (latitude/longitude from the lidar’s RTK receiver, or 0 when unavailable): uploaded together with the registration data.
• Location permission: used only to read the current Wi-Fi name (required by iOS/Android to access the SSID). We do not collect the phone’s own location.
• Camera: used only to scan the device registration QR code. Frames are processed on-device and never stored or uploaded.
• Scan data and logs: point-cloud projects, control points and logs stay in local storage and leave the device only when you explicitly share or export them.
• Version data (App ID, package name, version code): sent to the update server when you check for updates.
• Phone model and OS version: uploaded with registration data for compatibility support.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, emails, accounts, contacts, SMS, photos, clipboard content or IDFA. The App contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

2. Sharing

Data is shared only with (a) the device vendor’s registration service, for registration and after-sales support, and (b) the App update service, for version delivery; or as required by law.

3. Retention and deletion

Projects, control points and logs are stored locally and can be deleted in the App at any time (log management, project list) or by uninstalling the App. Registration data is retained by the device vendor under its service terms.
